Cleaning an Epoxy Pump

Early in February, 2004, I discovered that my Epoxy-Pump was leaking.  This is mostly caused by the corrosive nature of the Hardener eating away at the fiber-washer in the Hardener-side of the pump.  A cleaning/refurbishment was in order:  Note that the Epoxy-side seals were fine and probably did NOT need cleaning (but I did it anyway).

Here you can see the "Hardener-goo" pooling around the base of the pump:

I started by empting the Resevoirs:

And found a "gel" at the bottom of the Hardener-Side:

I saved the Epoxy, but threw away the Hardener (I bought more Hardener from Wicks).
