This module is easily installed by the average builder.
The only special equipment required is a Terminal Crimper which is available at
Radio-Shack or Menards:
Note that this crimper has special Trapezoidal Teeth for Crimping Molex
C-Grid Style

You can download the Installation Schematic for this module (a printed
diagram will be
included with your order). This diagram should help you determine how to
wire your
Gear-Warning Module.
The only critical constraints are for the Piezo Horn and LED's.
The Piezo Horn Drive should be limited to less than 120mA (most Piezo
Sounders
draw between 6mA and 40mA, so this should not be a problem for you).
Several Horns from Digikey fall into this category:

LED's should be limited to types that have a forward voltage (Vf) between
1.5V and 4.0V,
and acceptable brightness at a current of 20mA. Current-Limiting Resistors
are already
designed into the module, so no external resistors are required.
Wiring to the two connectors should be made with 20-guage aircraft wire.
